Join GrassROOTS Community Foundation in our 15/30 campaign, where 15 friends ask 15 friends to donate $30 to buy uniforms for girls participating in our Creating, Healthy, Informed, Confident, Knowledgeable, Selves (C.H.I.C.K.S) after school program at Harding Middle School in Philadelphia.
Girls from the C.H.I.C.K.S program reside in Frankford area in Philadelphia’s northeast where most families' income is less than $40,000. Residents of this community face severe economic hardship, making it difficult for them to provide some of the necessary resources for their children. To help, GCF would like to provide uniforms for the 90 girls participating in the C.H.I.C.K.S program.
